| 正面描述 | The obverse features the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the third portrait by Raphael David Maklouf, set within a recessed heart-shaped field. The legend QUEEN ELIZABETH II arcs above the portrait, with the denomination 2 DOLLARS inscribed to the lower left and NIUE to the lower right. The date 2010 appears vertically along the right side of the field. Along the outer right edge, the inscription 1oz FINE SILVER 999.0 SWISS MADE is engraved in the border. The coin's distinctive silhouette, shaped as a heart surmounted by a large decorative ribbon bow in high relief, frames the entire composition. |

Niue's licensing agreements with Sanrio have produced dozens of character coins since the late 2000s, exploiting the island nation's status as a Cook Islands-associated self-governing territory with its own commemorative coinage rights. My Melody, introduced by Sanrio in 1975 as a follow-up to Hello Kitty, anchors a collector sub-market almost entirely divorced from numismatic tradition — these circulate among character merchandise collectors as much as coin collectors, which partly explains why surviving examples are frequently found in original packaging with minimal handling.
