Beschrijving keerzijde Three polychrome gilt figures of ancient Egyptian deities stand in a frontal composition at the centre of the coin: Horus at left wearing the double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt, Osiris at centre enthroned on a decorated pedestal and holding his crook and flail, and Isis at right crowned with the solar disc and cow horns. The central group is surrounded by a coloured annular band decorated with alternating hieroglyphic ankh symbols against segments of red, green, blue, and gold enamel. A winged scarab beetle is depicted in the lower field below the central group. The legend HORUS · OSIRIS · ISIS arcs along the upper border, and ANCIENT EGYPT is divided across the lower field, all lettered in raised gilt characters.

Aanvullende informatie

The Solomon Islands has issued collector-focused silver rounds under its own authority since the 1970s, but by the 2010s the program had expanded heavily into themed series targeting the international bullion and numismatic gift market — Egyptian mythology proving a reliable seller. These pieces are legal tender in name only; face value bears no relationship to metal content or issue price, and none entered circulation.

KM#350 belongs to a multi-piece Egyptian gods series released that year, with Horus, Osiris, and Isis appearing together on a single coin — an uncommon compositional choice that compresses what other issuers typically spread across three separate releases.
