Beschrijving keerzijde	A boldly sculpted, high-relief depiction of a griffin — the mythological creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle — shown in a striding, alert posture facing left with wings spread and raised above its back. The creature's powerful leonine haunches, feathered breast, hooked beak, and taloned forefeet are rendered with exceptional sculptural detail against a contrasting split proof mirror and matte field. The inscription GRIFFIN appears in incuse block lettering along the lower portion of the inner field, with the engraver's monogram FM visible to the lower right. The design is enclosed within the same Greek meander border that frames the obverse.
