| Additional information |
Canada's grey wolf bullion sub-series, launched in 2015, was part of the Royal Canadian Mint's broader push into fractional silver bullion following the commercial success of the Wildlife series (2011–2013). The .9999 fineness was a deliberate competitive move against Perth Mint and Austrian Mint products that had long dominated the fine silver fractional market.
The ¾ oz. denomination is genuinely unusual — most fractional silver programs default to ½ oz. or 1 oz. increments, making this a calculated oddity.
