背面描述	The reverse bears a dramatic split composition combining gold-toned relief and full colour printing. On the left, a World War II airman in flying gear is depicted in relief saluting skyward. On the right, a colourised scene depicts Avro Lancaster bomber W4783 'G for George' of 460 Squadron RAAF, marked AR-G, flying a night bombing mission over an illuminated city with searchlight beams piercing the sky. A second Lancaster is visible above in the background. In the lower centre field, an incuse quotation reads: 'The Fighters are our salvation... but the Bombers alone provide the means of victory'. Winston Churchill. The peripheral legend reads 80th Anniversary G for George – Striking by Night along the upper arc, and 460 Squadron RAAF Bomber Command. Mannheim 6th Dec 1942 along the lower arc, all within a beaded border.
