| Aanvullende informatie |
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issued this piece specifically to promote Financial Information Month, an annual initiative the ECCB has run since 2004 to improve financial literacy across its eight-member currency union. That union — covering Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Anguilla, and Montserrat — shares a single currency, the East Caribbean dollar, whose peg to the US dollar at 2.70:1 has held without adjustment since 1976.
Commemorative circulating bimetallic and nickel-steel issues from the ECCB have historically seen limited distribution outside the issuing territories, making finds in uncirculated condition the norm in collections.
