| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse depicts six iconic European architectural landmarks rendered in high relief against a proof field, representing distinct historical periods and geographic regions of the continent. The structures portrayed are Tower Bridge in London, St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, the High Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Mary (Cologne Cathedral), the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed in Moscow, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome, and the Parthenon in Athens. The compositions are arranged across the oval field in an artistically balanced layout. The legend "CONTINENTS EUROPE" appears in the field. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Niue has operated as a coin-issuing venue for foreign mints since the 1970s, its status as a New Zealand realm territory giving it legal authority to produce currency while virtually none of it ever circulates on the island itself. The population hovers around 1,500 people. Coins bearing Niue's name are, in nearly every case, collector products contracted through overseas minting operations — the face value is nominal, the silver content is the point.
