Obverse description The obverse depicts the opened "Spring Flowers Egg" (originally created by Fabergé, 1899–1903), shown in its open position to reveal a miniature wicker basket containing a bouquet of anemones in the lower portion of the field. Above this decorative element appears the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley. The surrounding legend reads NIUE ISLAND ELIZABETH II 2 DOLLARS 2011, with the Mint of Poland mintmark (mw) also present.
