| Reverse description | Two highly detailed Chinese dragons, rendered in bold high relief with finely struck scales, claws, and flowing manes, face one another symmetrically across the central field. At the centre stands an octagonal Ba Gua (Eight Trigrams) medallion bearing the Yin-Yang (Taijitu) symbol, its eight trigrams arranged around the perimeter in the classical Bagua configuration. A lustrous spherical pearl is depicted at the apex between the two dragons' open jaws, while stylised clouds, mist, and waves fill the lower field. The entire composition is executed in antiqued finish, with deep relief enhancing the dramatic interplay of light and shadow across the interlocking dragon motif. No legends or inscriptions appear on the reverse. |
