Aanvullende informatie

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issued this piece as part of a broader commemorative program pairing Caribbean monetary identity with figures from British imperial history — an unusual curatorial choice that drew little comment at the time. Boudicca's relevance to the Eastern Caribbean is purely symbolic, filtered through the shared Crown rather than any direct colonial connection to Roman Britain.

Gold-plated copper-nickel issues of this type were produced in quantity for the collector market and saw essentially no circulation.
