Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, after the fourth definitive portrait sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs across the upper left field, BERMUDA across the upper right, and the date 2012 appears at the bottom center. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field, with fine detail in the hair and diadem. The reeded rim frames the design with a narrow inner border.
