Aanvullende informatie

Issued under the broader "Cities of the World" collector program that proliferated among Pacific island nations in the early 2010s, this piece is a product of the licensed legal tender arrangement whereby the Solomon Islands government authorized private minting firms — typically European — to produce low-mintage silver rounds carrying its nominal sovereignty for direct sale to collectors. The coins never circulated in Honiara.

The Berlin theme dates this piece to a period when reunification anniversaries and Cold War commemoratives were commercially reliable sellers in the European collector market.
