In the upper left, the diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right, engraved after Ian Rank-Broadley's fourth definitive portrait. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper rim, while NIUE ISLAND appears vertically along the left border. The date 2013, the denomination 2 DOLLARS, and the fineness mark Ag925 are inscribed along the lower portion of the field. |
