| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, diademed and draped, after the fourth definitive portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs above the effigy, while TWO DOLLARS curves along the lower field. The fineness mark Ag 999 appears to the right of the portrait. The entire central device is framed by a broad border decorated with a continuous Greek meander (key) pattern, with the issuer legend NIUE ISLAND and the date 2020 inscribed along the upper rim. |
