| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, a right-facing draped bust wearing a diamond diadem, as modeled by engraver Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials 'IRB' appear below the truncation. The peripheral legend reads 'ELIZABETH II' to the left and 'SOLOMON ISLANDS' along the upper arc, with the denomination '2 DOLLARS' to the right. The date '2014' is positioned at the base of the field. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a mirrored proof field, characteristic of collector-issue coinage. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Solomon Islands has issued commemorative silver in volume since the 1970s, but the Alice in Wonderland licensing agreements that proliferated across Pacific island mints in the 2010s were driven almost entirely by European bullion distributors using small-nation issuing authority as a legal vehicle — the Central Bank of Solomon Islands had no meaningful editorial role in the series. These pieces were struck on contract, almost certainly in Europe, and sold directly into collector markets far from Honiara.
