The seal itself depicts a stylised plant or tree motif enclosed within a zigzag-bordered circular frame. Below the seal, two crossed paddles are rendered in high relief beneath a scroll bearing the Niuean motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. In the lower left, the youthful figure of Aladdin is shown seated among rocks, smiling upward toward the Genie, with a palm frond visible beside him. In the lower right foreground, the iconic oil lamp rests upon a pile of treasure coins, with a wisp of smoke curling upward. The entire scene is framed by an elaborate arabesque border of scrollwork and beaded ornament, with the inscription 1 oz 999 FINE SILVER inscribed vertically along the right inner border. |
