| Obverse description | The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue displayed centrally within an ornate wreath of braided rope and diamond-shaped motifs, surmounted by a royal crown. The seal itself depicts a stylised plant or tree motif enclosed within a zigzag-bordered circular frame. Below the seal, two crossed paddles are rendered in high relief beneath a scroll bearing the Niuean motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The legend TWO DOLLARS arcs across the upper field, while the date 2019 appears at the bottom in large numerals. |
