Obverse description The obverse bears the sixth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, depicting the monarch in right-facing profile wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace with drop earrings. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the hair and crown ornamentation. The engraver's initials 'JC' appear truncated at the lower left of the bust. The surrounding legend reads 'ELIZABETH II · AUSTRALIA' in the upper arc, with the date '2020' at the right and the denomination '2 DOLLARS' along the lower arc, all separated by raised dot stops.
