Aanvullende informatie

The Perth Mint's lunar series operates on a strict twelve-year cycle tied to the Chinese zodiac, and the Snake year issue has historically drawn stronger secondary-market demand than several of its zodiac neighbors — the Snake being associated in Chinese tradition with wisdom and financial acumen, an appeal the Mint has never been shy about leveraging toward Asian bullion buyers. Mintage on the 2 oz silver Snake was capped, as with most Perth Lunar issues, with a certificate of authenticity included and the mintage figure struck into the edge.
