Reverse description The reverse commemorates the centenary of the Armistice ending World War I, featuring a large stylised numeral '100' dominating the field, with the zero formed by a pad-printed red and black poppy rendered in concentric circular detail — a symbol of remembrance. The denomination TWO DOLLARS is inscribed in bold lettering across the upper portion of the field, and ARMISTICE appears in capital letters below the central design. At the base, the date 11-11-11 is rendered in a stylised format evoking the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. The mint mark C and the designer's initials TD appear discreetly within the field.
