Obverse description The fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, is depicted in right-facing profile at the centre of the obverse, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. The engraver's initials IRB appear below the truncation of the bust. The field is finished in a deep cobalt blue pad-printed colour, providing high contrast to the raised silver portrait and surrounding legend. The circular legend reads ELIZABETH II at upper left, separated by a raised dot from AUSTRALIA at upper right, with the date 2013 at right and the denomination 2 DOLLARS at the base, flanked by raised dots.
