Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed naturalistic composition depicting two Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagles (Aquila audax) and a chick. A large adult eagle dominates the central field, shown in profile with wings partially spread and head lowered toward a juvenile chick perched in a nest of twigs at lower left; a second adult eagle is depicted in full flight with wings outstretched in the upper field. The arc legend AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE runs along the upper border, while the inscriptions 2018, 2OZ, and 9999 SILVER appear in the lower exergue. The Perth Mint privy mark P is visible to the right of the inner circle.
