| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue occupies the central field, depicting a circular seal charged with a stylized floral and foliate design, encircled by an ornate wreath of intertwined leaves and oval motifs, surmounted by a royal crown. Two crossed ceremonial paddles appear in saltire beneath the seal, above a ribbon scroll bearing the Niuean motto 'ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI'. The denomination legend 'TWO DOLLARS' arcs along the upper periphery in bold raised lettering, while the fineness mark 'Ag 999' and the issue year '2024' appear in the lower field. The entire design is rendered in a uniform black proof finish, giving the obverse a striking monochromatic appearance. |
