The background field is engraved with an antiqued scene depicting robed figures in a classical setting reminiscent of ancient Greek civic assembly. The inner border is composed of a continuous Greek key (meander) pattern. The legend VIVAT HUMANITAS appears twice along the left and right sides of the inner border, and a scroll at the base of the column bears the inscription 1oz FINE SILVER 9999. |
