| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue occupies the central field, depicted as a circular medallion bearing a stylised flowering plant motif surrounded by a decorative zigzag border, encircled by the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE. The seal is surmounted by a St Edward's Crown and flanked on each side by a vertical garland of oval leaf motifs. Two traditional Niuean paddles cross beneath the seal, above a ribbon scroll bearing the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The denomination 2 DOLLARS arcs along the upper rim and the date 2024 appears at the lower rim, both rendered in bold relief against the antiqued field. |
