Reverse description The reverse features a richly textured, high-relief composition evoking Palaeolithic art, combining two iconic prehistoric artefacts. In the lower right, a three-dimensional sculptural representation of the Venus of Willendorf — the celebrated limestone figurine dated to approximately 28,000–25,000 BCE — is rendered in bold relief with exaggerated feminine forms and characteristic braided headdress. To the left and upper field, dynamic cave paintings inspired by the Lascaux Cave (Dordogne, France), depicting galloping aurochs, stags, and horses in low relief against a textured rocky ground, evoking the celebrated Palaeolithic murals. The rim legend along the upper arc reads LASCAUX and A WILLENDORF, while the lower arc carries the inscriptions 2016, 30 000 – 20 000, with country indicators A (Austria) and F (France) denoting the respective origins of the artefacts.
