| Obverse description | Central field features an ornate heraldic shield surmounted by a royal crown, the shield bearing the Public Seal of Niue at its centre. The seal is encircled by the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE and flanked by crossed swords beneath, with the motto ATUA / NIUE TUKULAGI inscribed on a scroll below. The entire composition is framed by elaborate acanthus leaf scrollwork in high relief, with the programme monogram TS at the base of the shield. The year 2026 appears above the shield beneath the crown, while the legends TREASURE ISLAND and 2 DOLLARS arc along the upper and lower rims respectively, with 1 OZ. and AG 999 denoting the silver content in the left and right fields. |
