Obverse description The obverse is framed by an elaborate Gothic-style architectural arch with ornate relief detailing, flanked by twin pillars and decorated with owl motifs in the upper corners — a reference to the Wizarding World franchise. At the center of the field, the Public Seal of Niue is depicted, featuring a crowned circular cartouche enclosing a floral device, supported below by two crossed implements and inscribed with the legend ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. Below the seal, the denomination TWO DOLLARS and the date 2024 are inscribed in relief, with the specifications 1 oz 999 Fine Silver and the copyright notice WIZARDING WORLD © & ™ WBEI. (s24) appearing in the lower exergue.

Reverse description The reverse presents a dynamic high-relief depiction of a Thestral, the skeletal winged horse from the Wizarding World, shown rearing upright with its large bat-like wings dramatically spread across the field. The creature is rendered in fine sculptural detail, its gaunt equine body and reptilian head clearly articulated against a color-printed nocturnal background of deep blue sky, clouds, and stars. The composition is framed by the same Gothic architectural arch as the obverse, with three applied blue crystal accents set into the arch's keystone area. The legend THESTRAL appears incused along the lower border of the rectangular flan.
