Obverse description The obverse is struck in the form of an irregularly shaped, holed planchet imitating a salvaged Spanish colonial cob (macuquina) coin, finished in antiqued silver. At center, a large crowned cross divides the field into four quarters, with the denomination numeral '2' within a circle at its intersection, flanked by fleur-de-lis and castle motifs in the quadrants — faithful to the design of a Charles III (Carlos III) two-escudo gold doubloon. The date '1632' appears in the upper right field, and the partial legend CHRS / REGNQ / VINC runs along the periphery, referencing the original Spanish colonial royal legend. The mintmark and issuing details TWO DOLLARS · 1 OZ 999 PURE SILVER, THE GOONIES © & ™ WBEI, and the Niue issue year 2025 with mintage number appear as secondary inscriptions around the border.
