| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of His Majesty King Charles III in right-facing profile, rendered in high relief with fine sculptural detail to the hair and facial features. The legend CHARLES III arcs vertically along the left border and NIUE along the upper border, with TWO DOLLARS arcing vertically along the right border. The date 2024 appears at the base of the oval field, flanked by raised pellet ornaments, with the mint mark XXI inscribed above it. The engraver's initials JC appear below the portrait. The entire design is framed by a continuous beaded border following the egg-shaped outline of the coin. |
