Obverse description The obverse features a small circular medallion at the top of the field containing the uncrowned effigy of King Charles III in right-facing profile, rendered in fine relief against a stippled background. The surrounding annular field is decorated with an intricate isometric cube pattern in antiqued silver, evoking the geometric structure of a Rubik's Cube. At the center of the coin, a functional three-dimensional Rubik's Cube insert — mounted on a gold-toned pivot mechanism — protrudes from an open circular aperture; the visible faces of the cube display colored enamel tiles in green and yellow. The circumferential legend reads '2 OZ 9999 Ag 2024' to the left and '2 DOLLARS TUVALU' to the right, with '· KING CHARLES III ·' inscribed along the lower arc.

Reverse description The reverse is dominated by the colored 'THE OFFICIAL RUBIK'S™' logotype arching across the upper field, with each letter rendered in the brand's signature multicolored style against the antiqued silver background. The field itself is decorated with a repeating isometric cube texture. Four colored depictions of Rubik's Cubes in various states of solution are positioned around the right side of the field, illustrating the twist-and-turn solving process. To the left, the legend 'TWIST, TURN, SOLVE' is inscribed vertically in bold relief lettering. At center, the functional pivot-mounted cube insert displays blue and white enamel-colored tiles on its exposed faces. The lower field bears the '50 YEARS' anniversary motif with a stylized '5' and a Rubik's Cube-inspired '0', accompanied by the trademark notice 'TM & © SMTUK' to the left and the Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark to the lower right.
