Below the seal, two crossed ceremonial paddles frame a scroll bearing the Niuean motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI, while the denomination 2 DOLLARS is boldly rendered in the lower field. The mint mark CM and designer's initials SR appear in small characters at the bottom of the field, with the entire composition set against a deeply sculpted background of rocky cliffs and tropical foliage rendered in high relief. |
