Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse displays the Public Seal of Niue centrally positioned within a wreath of stylized diamond-shaped motifs, surmounted by a royal crown. The seal depicts crossed ceremonial paddles beneath an ornate circular medallion bearing traditional Niuean decorative patterning. A scroll below the seal carries the inscriptions ATUA and NIUE TUKULAGI. The denomination TWO DOLLARS arcs along the upper field, while the date 2024 appears at the base. The fineness AG 999 and weight 1.5 OZ are inscribed in the lower left and lower right fields respectively, with a small mint mark visible in the lower central field. The entire coin exhibits an irregular, organically curved silhouette evoking a melting or drooping form.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse is conceived as an artistic representation of a melting clock, inspired by Surrealist imagery, with the coin's distinctive irregular contour reinforcing the illusion of a timepiece that has lost its rigid form. Twelve Roman numerals — I through XII — are distributed across the distorted face of the clock, their positions warped and stretched in accordance with the undulating surface. A central oval boss bears two hands indicating approximately ten past ten, rendered in high relief against the recessed dial. The overall design is executed in antiqued finish, lending depth and shadow to the sculptural elements and enhancing the sense of surreal, fluid movement.
