| Obverse description | The Public Seal of Niue, surmounted by a royal crown, is displayed centrally within an ornate wreath of interlinked oval motifs. The seal bears a traditional Niuean design at its centre, encircled by the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE. The date 20 24 flanks the seal on either side, while below it two crossed ceremonial spears frame a ribbon scroll inscribed ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI. The denomination 2 DOLLARS appears in large stylised lettering across the lower field, with the Czech Mint and designer monograms (CM SR) struck in the lower centre. The entire composition is set against a richly detailed antiqued field evoking a natural landscape with rocky cliffs, tree roots, and foliage. |
