| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Public Seal of Niue rendered in high relief at centre, consisting of a circular wreath enclosing a traditional floral motif, surmounted by a royal crown. The legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE arcs around the upper portion of the seal, with the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI appearing on a ribbon banner below. The denomination TWO DOLLARS is inscribed in bold relief along the upper arc of the field, and the date 2023 appears below the seal.
