| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Public Seal of Niue, rendered in high relief at the center of the chibi-shaped flan, surmounted by a royal crown. The circular seal features an ornate floral motif surrounded by a beaded border and laurel branches, with crossed palm fronds below. The legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE arcs around the upper portion of the seal, while the motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI appears on a scroll beneath. Niue has operated as a prolific licensing hub for themed collector coinage since the early 2000s, issuing legal tender under its arrangement with New Zealand while contracting production to private mints — most frequently the Perth Mint and B.H. Mayer's Mint. This Indiana Jones release coincides with the 2023 theatrical release of Dial of Destiny, the fifth and reportedly final film in the franchise, timed to capitalize on the publicity surrounding Harrison Ford's return to the role after a fifteen-year gap.
Charles III's effigy appears on Niue coinage for the first time in this licensing cycle, replacing Elizabeth II following her death in September 2022.
