Beschrijving keerzijde A dramatically rendered, full-colour depiction of the Bohemian Lion — the heraldic symbol of the Czech Republic — portrayed as a powerful, forward-facing lion seated in a field of swirling flames, its fiery mane merging with the surrounding inferno rendered in rich oranges and reds. The lion bears a detailed royal crown upon its head, and its curling, flame-engulfed tail rises to the right of the composition. The legend ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs along the left periphery, while the specifications 1 oz · Ag 999 are inscribed along the upper right. The mint mark CM and a reversed D device mark appear in the lower right field, with a small privy mark at the base of the design.

Aanvullende informatie

Niue has operated as a reliable vehicle for third-party bullion and collector issues since the 1990s, its treaty relationship with New Zealand providing the legal framework for foreign mints — most commonly the Czech Mint — to produce coins bearing Niue's authority. The Czech Lion series, struck at Jablonec nad Nisou, has run continuously long enough to develop a secondary market following that tracks individual annual releases rather than the series as a whole.

Charles III appears here having acceded in September 2022, making 2026 issues still relatively early in what numismatists expect to be a long reign coinage.
