| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a detailed rendering of the Charles IV reliquary cross, shown open to reveal the oval central recess with a raised, gilded gold-plated frame enclosing the relic compartment, which displays a stylised textile motif representing a fragment of Christ's loincloth. To the left, a medieval illuminated manuscript-style scene shows two kneeling ecclesiastical figures in full liturgical vestments venerating the reliquary, accompanied by a Latin inscription in Gothic script above them. Six large spherical bosses in high relief are positioned around the outer edges of the cross frame. The Czech inscription KŘÍŽ S OSTATKEM KRISTOVY BEDERNÍ ROUŠKY arcs along the upper periphery.
