One of dozens of Marvel-licensed issues produced under Niue's long-running agreement with the New Zealand Mint, which has used the island territory's minting rights since the early 2010s to produce a continuous stream of pop-culture bullion and collector coins. Niue itself has no meaningful domestic coin circulation; these exist entirely for the collector and bullion market.
Charles III's effigy appears here for the first time on a Marvel series coin, replacing Elizabeth II following her death in September 2022.
