Black Manta is a DC Comics villain whose first appearance was in Aquaman #35 in 1967. Niue has been one of the most prolific issuers of licensed pop-culture silver rounds dressed as legal tender since the early 2010s, exploiting its status as a New Zealand realm territory to produce coins with nominal face values that bear no relationship to their bullion or collector premiums. The $2 denomination is a fiction — no one spends these.
KM#5993 places this squarely in a long Niue DC series that has included dozens of characters across multiple years.
