Obverse description The Public Seal of Niue rendered in high relief occupies the central field, depicting a crowned shield encircled by a wreath and flanked by two crossed weapons, with the motto 'ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI' inscribed on the banner below. The legend 'TWO DOLLARS' arcs along the upper portion of the field, while the date '2023' appears in the lower central field. The inscriptions '1 oz 999 Fine Silver' and 'AQUAMAN © & TM DC (s23)' are engraved in two lines at the base. The coin is struck in a distinctive shaped flan modelled after the helmet of the DC Comics villain Black Manta, giving the obverse its characteristic domed, ovoid outline.

Reverse description A stylised chibi-format full-body effigy of Black Manta, the DC Comics supervillain, is depicted in the centre of the reverse field, rendered in selective black and red coloring applied to the shaped flan. The character's oversized helmet dominates the upper portion of the design, featuring two large, prominently coloured red oval eye lenses set against a glossy black surface, with a fin-like ridge along the top. The armoured body below is detailed with black and red accents representing the character's signature aquatic battle suit, including articulated chest and shoulder armour. The figure is shown in a frontal, standing pose occupying the full extent of the shaped reverse field. No legends or inscriptions appear on the reverse.
