| Obverse description | Central design features a stylised representation of the crown of Saint Adalbert (sv. Václavská koruna), rendered as an arched and jewelled crown with ornate beaded borders framing the upper field. Within the arch, the Public Seal of Niue is depicted — a circular arms device surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by crossed spears on a ribbon scroll bearing the Niuean motto 'ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI'. The denomination '2 DOLLARS' appears in large characters along the lower field.
