Obverse description At upper left and upper right, quatrefoil counters enclosing the numeral 2 flank a central allegorical vignette of a young woman reclining against cargo boxes on a shoreline, with tall-masted sailing ships visible in the distance. A male portrait medallion — identified as Adnah Sackett, the bank's original president — appears in an oval frame at lower left, while a secondary allegorical vignette of a standing female figure occupies the lower right.
