| Beschrijving keerzijde | A group of figures stand atop a stone barricade, one among them raising the Latvian national flag, evoking the January 1991 barricade events in Riga. The cityscape of Riga, including a church steeple and a modern high-rise tower, is rendered in low relief in the background field. Below the figures, the word BARIKĀDĒM and the numeral 30 are inscribed on the face of the barricade wall. The curved legend DZĪVĪBU PAR LATVIJAS BRĪVĪBU arcs along the upper rim in Latvian, meaning 'Life for the Freedom of Latvia.'
