Aanvullende informatie

Niue has served since the 1990s as a prolific licensing vehicle for commemorative coinage — the island's currency rights, nominally tied to the New Zealand dollar, are largely exercised through contracted minting programs that have little to do with Niue's roughly 1,600 residents. This piece belongs to a miniature gold series reproducing historical monarchs, almost certainly produced by a European mint under license rather than struck in the Pacific.

At 0.5 grams, the gold content is negligible by bullion standards. Collectors should treat it as a numismatic curiosity rather than a precious metal holding.
