| Obverse description | Central device features the Public Seal of Niue, consisting of a circular medallion bearing a floral motif encircled by a wreath-like border, surmounted by a royal crown. Two crossed palm fronds flank the seal below. The legend TWO DOLLARS FIFTY CENTS curves along the upper periphery, while the subsidiary inscriptions ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI appear on a scroll beneath the central device.
