Obverse description The obverse of this rectangular gold bar-format coin features two principal design elements arranged vertically within a field bordered by a ring of incuse five-pointed stars. In the upper portion, the crowned Public Seal of Niue is depicted centrally, flanked by the curved legend 'TWO DOLLARS FIFTY CENTS' above and the date '2025' below, all rendered in high-relief proof finish. The lower portion presents a circular medallion in relief depicting a heraldic American eagle with wings spread wide, perched atop a shield, with radiating sunburst elements in the background and the inscription 'IN GOD WE TRUST' below. The lower field carries the inscriptions '2.5g FINE GOLD' and '999' flanked by stars, denoting the coin's bullion specification.
