The Palau coat of arms and the Temple of Heaven, Beijing, are incorporated into the design alongside bamboo sprays in the silver ring. The surrounding field bears all years of issue of the Chinese Panda silver coin from 1983 to 2013, arranged in the background. The legend around the rim reads REPUBLIC OF PALAU RAINBOW'S END 2 DOLLARS, with the issuing country and face value prominently stated.
