| Obverse description | Bicolour note printed in red and green, with a red guilloche underprint and ornate border. Two circular vignettes flank a central large numeral '2': the left vignette shows a sailing ship before a coastal mountain with the motto 'MISCERIQUE PROBAT POPULOS ET FOEDERA JUNGI' below and 'TRINIDAD' caption, while the right vignette presents a palm-lined coastal scene with the motto 'PULCHRIOR EVENIT' and 'TOBAGO' caption.
