| 备注 |
The Province of Canada ceased to exist the following year — Confederation in 1867 folded it into the new Dominion — which makes 1866 one of the last years this issuer had any legal standing to put paper into circulation. Notes from this final period were not issued in large quantities, and redemption after 1867 was handled through successor institutions, meaning many were surrendered early.
American Bank Note Company's New York facilities handled the full production run. The lathe-work guilloche patterns ABNCo employed in this period were among the most technically sophisticated anti-counterfeiting measures available anywhere in North America at the time.
